Bear Lake is an azure-blue treasure that has inspired and entranced humans for centuries. In addition to serving as a premier recreational destination, Bear Lake is a source of life-giving irrigation water to agricultural communities while also providing power generation for numerous western states.
Given its unique beauty and abundant offerings, Bear Lake has always had superfans. But what the lake lacked in the past was a unified team that could bring divergent parties with competing interests to the table to find proactive solutions.
Since 1993, Bear Lake Watch has filled that role and the organization has compiled a remarkable track record for scientific research, education, policy guidance, and win-win solutions.
