Enjoy a delicious Dutch oven dinner catered by Cast Iron Catering at 5:00pm at Bear Lake West Golf Course.
Tickets are $25 per adult
and $10 per child under 10yrs.
Payment will be at the event.

There are some great items from local businesses and folks like you who love and care about Bear Lake!
Be the first to place your online bid – or select Buy It Now when the online bidding opens. Below are the general details for the bidding site:
- Log In or pre-register – If you participated in the past, your login and profile are still intact. Please log on and validate or update your information. If you have not participated, please go to the site and pre-register as a bidder before the event.
- Buy It Now – If you don’t want to participate in the bidding process, this option allows you purchase the item at full retail price at any time during the open auction.
- Proxy Bidding – Enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for an item. The system automatically places bids on your behalf so you don’t need to re-bid every time someone places a higher bid.
- Auction Closes – If you are the winning bidder, you have the option to use the online payment process on the Bidding Owl website/mobile device with your credit card/PayPal, or you may make payment with Venmo or Credit cards at the checkout table.
- Donate to Bear Lake Watch – On the homepage of the auction site there is a Donate button under the Fund-a-Need and More option where you can make a donation directly to Bear Lake Watch.
RAFFLE
There will also be some really great raffle items available the day of the event.
Pricing will be 5 tickets for $20, 15 tickets for $50 and 40 tickets for $100.
Raffle item details will be available at the event, but include, among other things, gift baskets, golfing, restaurant gift cards and tickets to Pickleville Playhouse.

Each July, the Merlin Olsen Summer Classic (MOSC) takes place at Bear Lake West Golf Course. The tournament raises funds which are utilized by Bear Lake Watch to support critical scientific research on and around Bear Lake.
The MOSC is not only a fundraiser, but also a celebration of Merlin Olsen’s legacy. Olsen was a Pro Football Hall of Famer, sports broadcaster, spokesman, actor and philanthropist; he was also a founding member of Bear Lake Watch, and had a deep love of the lake. Olsen served as the president of Bear Lake Watch for many years. He played an integral role in securing Bear Lake Watch’s 501(c)(3) status and truly dedicated himself to the important work of protecting the lake that he and his family retreated to each summer.
Since the MOSC first teed off in 2012, it has raised more than $717,000 thanks to the generosity of hole sponsors, donors and golfers. Funds raised from the MOSC have been leveraged into more than $1.1 million of research projects executed in collaboration with a variety of funding partners, including the US Geological Survey, PacifiCorp, Utah State University and the states of Utah and Idaho. These projects are vital to securing the future of Bear Lake.
The MOSC’s success relies on the continued support of individual and corporate donors. In addition to the tournament, the event also includes an online silent auction, raffle and Elegant Picnic, making for a full day of fun.
